American Collegiate Horsemen’s Association (ACHA) unites collegiate horsemen of all levels and disciplines through the promotion of leadership, education, service and national affiliations. ACHA hosts a national convention each year to bring student and chapter members together to learn more about the horse industry and develop their leadership skills through tours, panel discussions and other networking opportunities. The organization also recognizes outstanding chapters and students through annual awards.
ACHA welcomes students from any four-year or two-year equine programs in the country. If you would like more information about the organization, the benefits of membership or how to start a local chapter, visit our Membership page for more information.
Chapters! This is your reminder that the due date to submit a career highlight is coming up soon. Sunday, February 1st!
If you plan to submit a highlight and haven't already, visit the ACHA Spring Post Guidelines, for submission details. The file can be found linked in the monthly email.

A mane attraction this Valentine's Day is the first ever ACHA Valentine's Day Card Contest!
In an effort to make sure we can include all of our chapters in some fun, we will be hosting this contest similarly to the Spooky Horse Competition. So, what do you need to know?
💌Chapters are asked to submit their best Valentine's Day card by February 11th. The only catch is that it must be horse-themed, although it does not need to feature an equine friend. Cards may be either handmade or created via Canva and should be one page only.
🌹We request that photo submissions for handmade cards are clear, oriented the correct way, and have as little background as possible. Cards made in Canva should be sent as JPEG or PNG images.
Please direct all questions and submissions to [email protected]. Have a lovely month!
